About Kaleidal
Kaleidal LLC is a small company in Portland, Oregon. It does two things:
- Kaleidal Tools (kaleidal.app): creative software that runs in your web browser. There's nothing to install, and your projects and media stay on your own computer.
- Kaleidal Media (kaleidalmedia.com): media consulting, ad operations, AR campaigns and experiential campaigns for brands and agencies.
The name and the K
Kaleidal comes from the kaleidoscope. The cut in the K is exactly 60°, the angle between the two mirrors inside a classic kaleidoscope. Repeat that wedge all the way round and you get six cells; the K is one window into it.
Founder
Chant Choi has worked in digital media for over 20 years, mostly in innovative and emerging ad formats: intrinsic in-game advertising, interactive ads, augmented reality (AR), and connected TV (CTV), which he helped pioneer in its infancy. He founded Kaleidal with a desire to foster creativity in the everyday and to make creation more accessible, and to bring his experience to two places: simple creative tools that anyone can use, and hands-on campaign work through Kaleidal Media. Chant is based in Portland, Oregon.
